The BOBAMABOB is a robot (and a palindrome) that automatically assembles a fresh, fully customizable, cup of boba tea! You get to choose the tea, toppings, ice, and sweetener that goes into the tea and the BOBAMABOB puts it all together. Fully custom gantry movement, stuff-dispensing, pumping and liquid management, electrical systems, and more!

Jeremy and Kevin are two friends who have built many things together since high school, ranging from science fair projects, hackathons, and even a (failed) startup. Last year we built our first robot for Open Sauce (the BOBAMABOB), and this year we’re back with version 2 of the BOBAMABOB! Jeremy is a software engineer by day and a delusional Jerry-rigger at night. Kevin is a firmware engineer by day and enjoys working at the intersection of code, art, and the physical world.
