Open Sauce 2026
Terms of Service.
The ground rules for using opensauce.com and attending the festival.
01
Agreement
By using opensauce.com, buying a ticket, or attending the event, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or come to the festival.
02
Tickets
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise noted at checkout. Tickets are non-transferable in certain cases — check the ticketing platform for details. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who violates the Code of Conduct, with no refund.
03
Event Changes
Dates, lineup, programming, and venue details can change. We'll do our best to notify ticket holders if anything material changes. Open Sauce isn't responsible for travel or lodging costs if the event is rescheduled or canceled due to circumstances outside our control.
04
Conduct & Safety
Attendees must follow the Code of Conduct, venue rules, and any directions from staff or security. Exhibitors are responsible for the safety of their own booths and demos.
Read the Code of Conduct. It's short and exists for a reason.
05
Photo & Video Release
By attending, you grant Open Sauce a perpetual, worldwide license to use photos, audio, and video captured at the event — including your likeness — for promotional and editorial purposes.
06
Intellectual Property
The Open Sauce name, logos, and site content are owned by OS Productions and its licensors. Don't reproduce, distribute, or use them without permission. Exhibitor and creator content belongs to its respective owners.
07
User Submissions
If you submit an exhibit application, volunteer application, photo, or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant us a license to use it for event operations and promotion.
08
Site Use
Don't break the site. No scraping, automated abuse, reverse engineering, or interfering with security. We can suspend access if we suspect misuse.
09
Disclaimers
The site and event are provided "as is." Open Sauce makes no warranties about uptime, accuracy of information, or specific outcomes. Attendance carries inherent risks — robots, fire, lasers, etc. — and you accept those by showing up.
10
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Open Sauce and OS Productions are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the site or attending the event. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the price you paid for your ticket.
11
Governing Law & Updates
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. We may update them from time to time — material changes will be announced. Continued use of the site or attendance means you accept the updated Terms.
