Magnoplotter: Analogue Aircraft Radar
What if we had computers, but not screens? Ask silly questions: get silly answers. The Magnoplotter moves airplane tokens around on a board one by one from the back side with magnets, furiously updating aircraft positions in real time like a robotic radar power by caffeine. It avoids crashing tokens into each other, optimizes movement order, and generally makes you appreciate the LCD! Using live ADSB data for true aircraft positions.
// About the Exhibitor

Three guys went to school together and then decided at OpenSauce 2025, "You know, we should do one of these." Conner wasn't much of a maker anymore and so he fixed that with the most useless project he could conceive of actually finishing. Zachary and Conner are mechanical engineers in Dallas, and Joey is an electrical engineer in Sacramento. Joey likes to build cool things, like his CPU made from simple microchips, and his scripting language called duck-lisp. Zach always has a project or 3 going, and enjoys photography, isopods, and Swing dancing! Come ask for his maker coin!
