Polydact: A Flexible New Finger
Polydact is a wearable robotic sixth finger that gives its user greater dexterity than they have with the natural hand. The flexible digit has options for motorized and body-powered control. This project is a proof of concept before fully emulating a cephalopodic doctor I read about once. Details at tmpegues.github.io/projects/polydact
// About the Exhibitor
Most of the things I make have a bit of a natural or earthy component to them. That range covers everything from this octopus-like robotic tentacle, to a variety of baked goods, and ceramic wares to bake in and eat from. I'm working on a M.S. in Robotics at Northwestern University. Got any job openings?
