Visionary AI Glasses
Visionary AI Glasses are low cost wearable glasses that help visually impaired students read printed classroom materials aloud. A camera on a 3D printed frame captures worksheets, textbook pages, handouts, and signs. A Raspberry Pi processes the image through a CRNN, extracts the text, and converts it into speech through onboard audio.

Akhil Nagori is a high school student from Santa Clara, California, building AI and hardware projects focused on accessibility and robotics. He is the founder and lead developer of Visionary AI Glasses, a low cost wearable that helps visually impaired students read classroom text through real time audio.
